Sgt. Sullivan was killed in action on January 8, 1968 of gunshot wounds received while fighting in Quang Duc Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Sullivan of Gordo; a son, Scott Sullivan; his father, J. L. Sullivan, brothers, James Sullivan, Howard Sullivan and Ronald Sullivan; sisters Mrs. James O'Neal, Mrs. Carolyn Hubbard and Miss Doris Sullivan.
Sgt. Sullivan of Tuscaloosa had been in Vietnam since last June 21, 1967 and had been serving in the Army since 1964. He formerly attended Northside High School.
