Anne was born May 14, 1925, in Chisholm to Frank Sr. and Frances (Krajnc) Jenko. She graduated from Chisholm High School with the Class of 1943. She worked at Montgomery Ward Catalog Office in Chisholm where she met Victor Laurich of Balkan Township. They were married Sept. 13, 1947, in Chisholm. Anne was a homemaker while the children were young but returned to the workforce in 1964 and was employed by Huffer Drug and later at the Keyboard Liquor Store and the Slovenian Home until her retirement in 1990.
Her passions were good food, good friends and helping others. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, a game of cards and cooking and baking Slovenian delicacies. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chisholm, as well as a member of KSKJ, SNPJ and the Slovenian Women's Union.
She is survived by her daughters: Sharon (David) Terzich, Kathleen (Bruce) Anderson, Victoria (George) Bennett, and Patricia Farr; sister, Frances (Andre) Belland; and brother, James (Eleanor) Jenko; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous dear nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor in 1990; brother, Frank Jenko Jr. and sister, Helen Klinkhammer.
Interment in Chisholm Cemetery.
