He is survived by his mother, who resides in Topton; his widow, Ruth R. (Dankel) Althouse; two sons: Robert Joseph and Randy Todd, both at home; two brothers: Ralph, Topton, and Niles, Mertztown; two sisters: Betty, wife of Claude Fairchild, and June, wife of Richard Gillmer, Lenhartsville; and a grandfather, Ralph Knauss, near Topton.
