Shirley J. Gladden, 61 years old, of New Bloomfield, Missouri passed away on Tuesday February 2, 2010 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.
She was born December 9, 1948 in Callaway County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Smith Ridgel. On June 3, 1981 she married Jerry Gladden. He survives at their home.
She is also survived by three sons Marvin (Christy) Ridgel (Christy)of New Bloomfield, Missouri, Scott Ridgel (Fonda Smith) of Fulton, Missouri and Jeremy (Barbra) Gladden of Lebanon, Missouri; one daughter Karrie Sanfort; special friends Michael Scofield and Debbie Keilholtz; brothers Roy Ridgel (Julia) of Berlin, Germany, Norman (Rita) Ridgel (Rita) of West Fork, Arkansas and Harold L. Ridgel (SunPun) of Fulton, Missouri; one sister Ruth Maddox; fourteen grandchildren, Kayla McClure, Kayce McClure, Charles McClure, Alton McClure, Karissa Sandfort, Scott Ridgel, Ruth Ridgel, Roy Ridgel, Christopher Ridgel, John Ridgel, Victoria Gladden, Pastan Gladden, Corbin Gladden and Deszray Murphy.
She was proceeded in death by two brothers, one sister and her stepfather.
Shirley had worked as a psych aid for Fulton State Hospital. She was a member of Narrow Road Christian Union in Eugene, Missouri. She was also an active member of Cowboys for Christ, Capitol Region.
Funeral Services are 2:00PM Friday, February 5,2010 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Visitation Friday February 5,2010 from 12:00-2:00PM at Debo Funeral Home. Graveside service February 5,2010 at Hillcrest Cemetery.
