Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Catholic church in Welsh for Mrs. Erma T. Doucet, 59. Mrs. Doucet died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday in her home.
The Rev. J.O. Daigle officiated. Burial followed in the Catholic cemetery of Welsh, Hixson funeral home in charge. Mrs. Doucet was born in Elton, but had lived for many years in Welsh.
She is survived by her husband, Malone Doucet, of Welsh; one daughter, Mrs. D.J. Brown, of Welsh; one son, WIlford Doucet, of Welsh; three brothers, Louis Trime of Welsh, J.S. Trime of Elton and Anthony Trime; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Harold Trime, John Trime, Wilton Trime, Clyde Bertrand, D.H., Brown and J.C. Clements.
