"Cynthiann" was the youngest of 7 known
children of Jeremiah Griffith &
Cynthia Ann Owens. She was reared on a farm on Parina Road. On that farm, her mother is buried in the family cemetery, known as the Griffith/McBeth Cemetery on this website.

She married George Washington Myers on
13 Feb. 1856 at Aberdeen, Brown Co., OH. They raised their family on a farm on Parina Road, not far from the farm where she grew up.

Cynthia Ann's great-grandmother on her

was the sister of Kentucky pioneer Simon Kenton

She died at the family farm on Parina Road near Brooksville, Bracken Co., KY, and was buried on the farm next to her late husband. The cemetery photograph to the right shows the Myers family home in the background, still owned by a descendant as of 2018. Cynthiann was a member of the Triumph Christian Church, Parina Road.
