Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Mary Ainsworth, 97, formerly of Kosciusko, were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3 at Culpepper Chapel in Kosciusko. Rev. James Warren officiated. Burial was in Parkway Cemetery.
Mrs. Ainsworth died of heart failure Thursday, August 1, 2002 at Yazoo Rehab Center in Yazoo City.
A native of Leake County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Della Munday Stone. She was a member of Zama Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Howard Ainsworth.
Survivors include: sons, Riley Ainsworth of Lexington and Tommy Ainsworth of Greenwood; daughters, Emma Dell (Sue) Provenza of Greenville, "Becky" Carolyn Stowall of Yazoo City, Syble Adams of Tupelo, and Nettie Smith of Union City; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
