Armintrout Died In Short Illness

Earnest e. Armintrout, a barber here 40 years, died at the Wayne County hospital Saturday where he had been a patient since Thursday. Relatives found Armintrout critically ill at his home, but until then he had been able to come to town almost every day.

Born on Feb 29, 1870, Armintrout was past 90 at the time of his passing, but joked frequently about having had only 24 birthdays. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, four sisters and his wife, the former Dollie Trinkaus of Corydon.
