December 3, 1927} I feel well for a cold rainy day. I will now write some of my adventures in life. On the 20 of March in the year 1870 I married Miss Matilda Justus. We lived together 23 years. She died May 16,1893. There were 4 children born to us. Their names are; Rachel, Elisha, Benoni, Mintie. Elisha is now living, the other 3 are in heaven. On the 24 of June in the year 1894 I married Mrs Mary Ann Orr, a widow, her maiden name was Powell. We lived together 31 years. She died February 11,1926. There were 8 children born to us. Their names are: Emmer, Elmer, Martha, Ella, Othelo, Junus, John, Elenor. Emmer is still living. The other 7 are in heaven.
Feb. 23, 1928} I am in good health. My Heavenly Father showers his blessings upon me till my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy____.
