Kathleen Ann Rusk, 87, died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a short illness. Services will be 1:30 PM Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church by Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial will be in Rector Cemetery, rural Chelsea. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Saturday at the Hrabak Funeral Home. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 PM.
She is survived by two daughters – Karen VanSickle of Brooklyn and Marcia McDonald of West Branch; son – Lyle Rusk of Cedar Rapids; sister – Lola Maddox of Stillwater, Oklahoma; brother – John (Nancy) Squiers of Omaha; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Orin and Anna Squiers; husband Elmer, daughter, Carol Walton; and brother, Richard Squires.
