Deloris V. Fortson, 60, 1100 11th St., Altoona, died Sat., Dec. 18, 2010 at Altoona Hospital of a heart attack. She was born in Tarboro, NC to Joseph Nathan & Lossie (Ricks) Bridgers. She married Daniel Fortson in July 1975 and he predeceased her. Survived by son, Daniel Anthony Fortson, of Cincinnati; daughters: Tonya Bridgers and Tammi Bridgers, both of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; brother, Robert Bridgers, of Kent, WA; sisters: Mabriel Bridgers, of Philadelphia and Gretta Bridgers, of Ambler; 2 nieces; and 2 nephews. Deloris was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. She previously had worked at Sylvania; C-COR Electronics, Inc. and Veeder-Root Co. Member, Prince of Peace Church of God in Christ. Deloris enjoyed watching her favorite movie, 'The Temptations,' going to church and being around her children and grandchildren. Interment, Blair Memorial Park. Stevens Mortuary, Altoona.
