RILEY, KS - Cecil B. DeWyke, age 89 of Randolph, KS, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at Mercy Regional Health Center of Manhattan, KS.

Cecil was born December 16, 1919, on the family farm at Randolph, KS. He was the son of Bruce and Lillian (Vogelsang) DeWyke.

He was married on April 12, 1959, to Ruth Schurle. She preceded him in death on August 30, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents and brother, Earl DeWyke.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Hohman of Randolph, KS, Sister-in-law, Helen DeWyke of Waterville, KS and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2009, at the Randolph United Methodist Church in Randolph, KS. Respect calls may be made anytime Saturday or Sunday at the Holmes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, KS. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery east of Riley, KS.

A memorial has been established for the Randolph United Methodist Church.
