OBITUARY:

Funeral services for Robert E. Bush, 91, Cadiz, were conducted on February 4, 2003, at Goodwin Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Cheever officiated the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Mr. Bush died on February 2 at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz of natural causes.

Mr. Bush was born on November 12, 1911, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Alonzo Carlton and Charlotte Givens Bush.

Mr. Bush was a retired farmer, a member of masonic Lodge No. 121, and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Horace Bush, John Bush and Lexie Bush; and two sisters, Myrtle Adams and Martha Elizabeth Banister.

Survivors include his wife, Susie Gray Bush of Cadiz; five brothers, Carloss Bush of Cadiz, Cecil Busch of McKinney, Texas; Travis Bush of Frankfort, Ky., Kenneth Bush of Cadiz, and Charles Bush of Frankfort, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Bob Bush, Bill Bush, Charles O. Bush, Jr., Harold Bush, Lacy Bush and Richard Bush.

Honorary pallbearers were: Kenneth Bush, Carloss Bush, Charles Bush, Billy Bush, Cecil Bush, Carlton Bush, Travis Bush and John T. Edwards.

Music was provided by Martha Fortner, organist.
