Voy Roberts, 94, a Resident of The Landmark in Booneville, went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2010.
He was a Car Dealer for many years and the Owner of Roberts' Motors in Baldwyn.
He loved Fishing and Honey Bees.
After retiring he raised Bees and provided many people in surrounding areas with Honey.
He was fondly known to many as "The Bee Man."
He was a United States Army World War II Veteran.
He served from November 27, 1941, to September 28, 1945.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Hartley officiating.
Burial will be in East Mt. Zion Cemetery.
He is survived by two Daughters, Jackie Pruitt and Husband, Mancil, of Baldwyn; and Jan Conn and Husband, Rodger, of Corinth; one Sister, Mildred Griffin and Husband, Paul, of Baldwyn; Grandchildren, Derrick Pruitt; Lori Morris; Will Conn and Wife, Katie; Great Grandchildren, Daniel Porch; Derrian Pruitt; Meri Morris; Brooke Morris and Mattie Magers Conn; Great Great Grandchild, Lila-Kate Pruitt.
He was preceded in death by his Wife of 65 years, Winnie Magers Roberts; a Son, Sebancil Roberts; his Parents, S.A. and Almittie Scott Roberts; Sisters, Cedeira Gholston, Delilah Hensley and Eulala Gibbons; and a Brother Gaston Roberts.
