Felix "Neal" McIntosh, 79, of Cadiz and formerly of Princeton, died Sunday, July 6, 2003, at 4 a.m. at his home, following a long illness.
A World War II veteran, maintenance man at the Rock Quarry and member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church, he was born April 26, 1924, in Caldwell County, a son of the late Felix Borden McIntosh, who died Feb. 18, 1984, and Mable Irene Underwood McIntosh, who died Aug. 12, 1992.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy McIntosh, on Aug. 5, 1999; two sons, Joe McIntosh, in 2002, Jerry Dale McIntosh, in 1974; a brother; Donald Earl McIntosh; and two sisters, Kathyron Irene Lamb and Hazel Riley.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. Bobby McIntosh of Cadiz; a daughter, Staci Jones of Princeton; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a brother, Danny McIntosh of Caldwell County; four sisters, Edith Adamson and Rose Capps, both of Caldwell County, Doris Cook of Hopkins County and Nellie Vowell of Ruskin, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 8, at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Bobby McIntosh officiating.
Burial followed in Cross Roads Cemetery in Caldwell County.
