B. T. Sorum, 76, Dies Following Long Illness
Brede T. Sorum, 76, died Tuesday [February 6, 1945] morning at 10:30 at this home following a lengthy illness. Mr. Sorum has been in ill health for several years but had been confined to his be since Christmas.
Mr. Sorum was born June 20, 1868, in Hadeland, Norway, and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his widow, four sons, Clarence, Ed and Hermal all of Estherville, and Ben of Cedar Rapids, and a daughter, Mrs. Peter Paulson of Swan Lake township. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 8, 1945)
