Janet Sue Bunch Housley age 55 of Knoxville departed this life on December 20, 2010.

She was preceded in death by parents, Beecher and Leathel Bunch, and her very special mother-in-law, Edith Housley .

She is survived by her husband, Douglas J. Housley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gerald Dean and Kermit R. Carver, Dorothy Jean and Larry Herron, Elizabeth Ann and Russell Jeffers; brothers and sisters-in-law Randall Edward and Rita Bunch, and Carl and Lynda Fatche; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bunch-Housley graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design. She attended the University of Georgia to pursue a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture.

She served in a professional capacity with Calloway Gardens, Extension Service, City of Knoxville, and University of Tennessee.

Her favorite pastime was spent with friends and family, traveling, and enjoying all of the natural wonders. Also, she enjoyed attending Sevier Heights Baptist Church.

In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Bruce Avery, Dr. Davis Allen and their staffs for their loving care and support.

Pallbearers will be John Housley, Ken Dinnhaupt, Ken Boatman, Randy Carver, Allan Graham & Russ Jeffers.

The family will receive friends at Holly Gamble Funeral home in Clinton on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6-8 PM with funeral following at 8:00 PM in the chapel with Dr. Hollie Miller officiating. The graveside will be at Thursday, December 23rd at 10:00 AM at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton with Rev. Charles McNutt officiating. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements
