BAXTER Funeral services for Donna Kay Sackett Smith, 52, of Baxter will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, from the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-9
p.m. on Saturday, June 11; and from 8 a.m. until time of services on Sunday, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith died on Thursday, June 9, 2005, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1952, in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Floyd and Bertha Graham Sackett. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.
Her family includes her husband of 35 years, Eddie Deen Smith of Baxter; three daughters and two sonsinlaw, Jennifer and Larry Stockton, Shawna and Allen Bowman, and Amber Spicer, all of Baxter; a son and daughterinlaw,
Floyd and Cathey Smith of Silver Point; two sisters and a brotherinlaw, Barbara and Bert Bannister, and Penny Hollin, all of Crothersville, Ind.; 11 grandchildren, Alyssa, Christopher, Dakota, Glen, Josh, Michael, Randy, Tamara, Teola, Tiffany and William; two special friends, Josephine Golden and Judy Oaks, both of Cookeville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Conrad; a grandson, Cody Dale Stockton; an infant sister; an infant brother; and a half sister.
