Private services were pending for Leland Long, the father of actress Shelley Long. He died at the age of 77.
The actress was on her way to Indiana yesterday to attend the funeral, said her agent Leonard Hirshan.
Long died Wednesday at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He retired in 1973 from Bluffton High School, where he had taught and served as a guidance counselor.
