Marcia K. Beck, 71, of rural Bluffton, died at 4:27 pm Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, from injuries in an auto accident south of Bluffton.
Born Oct. 2, 1933, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Herman Jump, who is deceased, and Harriett (Gray) McKee, who survives in Bluffton. Her first husband, James Phillip Harvey, is deceased. Her marriage to Ron Beck was on April 3, 1976, in Bluffton.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and her mother, are a son, Steven D. Harvey of Bluffton and a daughter, Mrs. Bobby (Judy) Gordon of Bluffton, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Beck was a 1951 graduate of Bluffton High School. She worked at the Foot and Ankle Clinic at Wells Community Hospital for eight years. She was a member of Six Mile Church, the Ladies Bible Study and the Women's Quilting Group. Calling will be from 2 to 8 pm Tuesday at Thoma-Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home, where services will be at 10 am Wednesday with Pastor Brian Omerso of Six Mile Church officiating. Burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery. Memorials to the Six Mile Church.
