Wolfe -- Mrs. Susanna Wolfe, widow of Daniel Wolfe, died October 16, at her home, Highland, this county, of paralysis, at the advanced age of 85 years, 3 months and 22 days. Deceased has been blind for the past five years. She was a daughter of the late Peter Grossnickle, of J., and of a family of 12 children, only one, Mrs. Rebecca Maugans, of Wolfsville, now survives. She had been an exemplary member of the German Baptist church for over half a century. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Oct. 28, at the Grossnickle German Baptist church, Rev. Charles F. Ausherman, officiating.

(1) Her death date reported as October 16, in the obituary is incorrect, and should have been given as October 26, to be more consistent with a funeral date of October 28.
