Mrs. Alice Virginia Hutson, 75, of 655 Berry Hill Bridge Road in Ruffin went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, Nov. 14, 2010 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
There will be no formal service or visitation.
Mrs. Hutson was born in Henry County, Va., on Aug. 1, 1935, a daughter of Oscar and Elsie Barker, both deceased. She was a homemaker. She loved to fish and take care of her husband.
She is survived by her husband Claude D. Hutson of Reidsville; her sisters, Mattie Moore of Ruffin, Viola Compton of Martinsville, Va., and Anna Whitehead of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; her brothers, Robert Barker, Grover Barker and Oscar Barker, Jr., all of Axton, Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen Kennett and Orena Barker and her brothers, Leslie J. Barker and Harry Lee Barker.
