PIONEER IOWA WOMAN DIES HERE SATURDAY
Mrs. Susan Lambirth died Saturday at the home of her son, Earl, in Chariton. She was 82 years old. Born Feb. 22, 1851, in Morgan county, Indiana, Mrs. Lambirth came to Iowa when a young girl with her parents.
She was married to Joseph Lambirth in 1869. Her husband and five of their seven children preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Earl of Chariton and Ora of Storm Lake, Iowa.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Earl Lambirth home, conducted by the Rev. Filson of Des Moines. Burial was in the Chariton cemetery.
