LeRoy (Roy) Despain, age 89, of Salem, Utah, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 1995. He was born September 5, 1905, in Granite, Utah, the fourth child of George F. and Prudence Butler Despain. He married Maida Warren Beddoes, July 1950, in Elko, Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Maida, of Salem; two daughters: Jalene McCloy, Salem, and Arlene Wilson, of logan. A son, Gary M. DeSpain, Longmont, Colorado. Two step-sons: Shirl Beddoes, Spring Lake; and Joe Beddoes, of Spanish Fork; 28 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Rosalie, a son Merrill DeSpain, a step-son, Scott Beddoes, granddaughters, Shawn DeSpain and Kristine Beddoes, his parents and seven brothers and sisters. Burial was March 11, 1995.
