Elizabeth LaMacchia, 51, of Clay, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday. She was a life resident of the Syracuse area and was presently employed by Parriott Wolff Environmental Co. Elizabeth was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church of Cicero and was a volunteer at Francis House. Elizabeth was a kind and loving women, considered a best friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Jason and Michael LaMacchia, both of Clay; her father, Salvatore Abbadi of East Syracuse; sisters, Susanne Kennedy of Liverpool and MaryAnne Wagner of East Syracuse; life partner, Richard Mourhess of Clay; and several nieces.
Funeral Services: 8:15 a.m. Thursday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling Hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1500 Park St.
