Our beloved Yolanda Murphy, born on August 19, 1964, joined our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, January 8, 2010. 'Yoly' was a great person to all of us who knew her. She loved and cared deeply for her family and friends. Her smile was unforgettable and could light up the darkest corners of a room. Her faith in the Lord was unimaginable, which kept us all together through rough times.

She was preceded in death by Jose P. Quinones, Sr., Joey Quinones III, Bernard Patrick Murphy, Jr., Patricia Murphy and Cheryl Murphy.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Bernard Murphy, III; her children, Ashley Nicole Murphy (Sam Noyola); Bernard Patrick 'Bee' Murphy, IV; her mother, Soccoro Quinones; two brothers, Jose Quinones, Jr. (Cecilia), Richard Quinones; her sister-in-law, Judith Novasad (Hank); brother-in-laws, Derek Murphy (Susan), Robert Murphy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

'Yoly, we want you to know that we love you so much that words can't describe. It is going to be a challenge living without your presence, but you taught us so much and for that we are grateful. Thank you for teaching us the golden rule, 'Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you!.' Save us a spot up there in heaven, because one day we will all meet again.'

Visitation and a rosary service were held on Tuesday, January 12th and a funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 13th. All services held at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel.

Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas
