Angela Pawlik, my great, grandmother. The daughter of Polish immigrants, Joseph and Barbara Foszcz, Angela grew up speaking Polish and English. On October 3, 1931, Angela married John Pawlik, also the son of Polish immigrants. On April 10, 1934, John and Angela had a child and the child was named Stephen John Pawlik, my grandfather. Eight years later, a second child was born, John Stanley Pawlik. On October 3, 1981, John and Angela recived an award from the mayor of River Grove, Illinois, for their 50th wedding anniversery. In 1984, John died at the age of 77. In 2003, Angela died at the age of 93
