Dorothy Fay Stroud, 41, of Rt. 1, Monroe City, Ind., died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Crestview Nursing Home after a brief illness.
Visitation and services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Summerfelt-Goodwin Funeral Home in Vincennes, Ind., with the Rev. Thomas Abbott presiding. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
She was born Feb. 6, 1944, in Gibson County, Ind., the daughter of Norman H. and Ival (Stewart) Harting. She married James Flory, and he preceded her in death in 1980. She married Boyd Stroud, and he survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father; a son, Scott Allen Flory of Monroe City, Ind.; a daughter, Jo Anne Burton of Washington, Ind.; two brothers, Donald Ray
Harting of Olney and Larry E. Harting of Columbus, Ind., and a sister, Norma Jean Slater of Gordon, Neb.
She was a physical therapist at Petersburg Health Care in Petersburg, Ind. and a member of the Hamline Chapel United Methodist Church.
