Cassie B. Wells
RUSSELLVILLE -- Cassie B. Wells, 72, Route 3, died Friday, Sept. 23, 1988, at his residence after a brief illness.
He was a native of Franklin County, was a retired transportation supervisor of the Franklin County school system, a member of the Masonic Lodge 371 and a member of Isbell United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home chapel, Russellville, with the Rev. Bill Taylor and Jeff McCrary officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery,Masonic rites will be at the graveside.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Hester, Brenda Myrick, both of Russellville; brothers, William Paul Wells, St. Petersburg, Fla., Gordon Allen Wells, Littleville, Thomas Eugene Wells, Russellville; sisters, Margaret Carmack, Russellville, Stacie Vanderver, Grace Searcy, both of Birmingham; four grandchildren.
Honorary bearers will be Mason.
