1893 Fannin Co. Tax list. 1898 Hunt Co. tax list. Convicted 5 May 1900 on 2nd degree murder. Received at Eastham prison 18 May 1900 on a 5 yr. sentence & pardoned 25 Aug 1901. 5'7" tall, 158 lbs., fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, balding in front at age 40, size 8 shoe. Prison records show multiple scars on chest, neck & back. He was in a fight with someone brandishing a knife.

Some time after George died in 1910 somebody decided to add a "d" in the name Stanley. All his previous records have him as Stanley, including court & prison records & his obituary in the Livingston newspaper.
