Blanche was the daughter of Frank Swigert and Mary Elizabeth Wooten of Gallia Co., OH. Her parents moved to Noble Co., OK and were living there in 1900. She married 1st to William Henry McKay and they operated a retail grocery in Muskogee Co., OK. William was born in Alabama, the son of Norman and Josephine McKay of Lauderdale County. He died in 1927.
Blanche married 2nd to Abner Carroll. After his death in Santa Clara in 1954, she moved back to Fresno, CA where two of her sisters lived. They were Margaret Swigert Schrader and Esther Perkins. Their mother Mary Swigert was a widow and living in Fresno in 1930.
