NATCHEZ — Services for Shirley Gray, 64, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parkway Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Spencer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Gray was born Sept. 27, 1944, in Natchez, the daughter of Willis A. Gray and Mary Anders Gray.
She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and a member of the Natchez Red Hat Society. She was a claims clerk for the State of Mississippi for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leroy Gray and Robert Gray; and one sister, Margie Higginbotham.
Survivors include her husband, John Gray; one daughter, Kim Hodges of Flowood; one son, Calvin Gray of Petal; three grandchildren, Kirk Wells, Brianna Gray and Jonathan Gray; four brothers, Clarence Gray, David Gray, Alton Gray and Hubert Gray, all of Natchez and one sister, Helen L. Aiguier of Ferriday, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Carl Timmons, Jeff Gray, Steve Gray, Josh Freeman, Jason Gray and Billy Smith.
