Thomas J. Brennan, 90, Williamstown, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at his home near Williamstown. Born July 9, 1910 in rural Williamstown, he was the son of James Albert and Emma Catherine Murphy Brennan. He married Marie Catherine Bader at St. Patrick on May 10, 1932. Mr. Brennan graduated from St. Patrick School. He was employed for a period of time as a truck driver by Kirchner and Sons Trucking of St. Patrick and was a lifelong laborer and farmer. He retired from Gardner-Denver at LaGrange in 1976 and farmed the same family farm in South Clark County on which he was born and raised for most of his life. He was a life long member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was the oldest living member of the parish at the time of his death. He was also a fifty year member of the St. Patrick Knights of Columbus and was also an active member in the parish's St. Vincent DePaul Society. Survivors include his wife; six children, Carolyn Kamp and her husband, Paul, Des Moines, Iowa; James V. Brennan and his wife Robin, South Beloit, Ill; Janice Hahn, Maquoketa, Iowa; Carl M. Brennan, Davenport, Iowa; Martha Harrison and her husband, John, Lewisville, Texas; Mary Lindsey and her husband Gene, Canton; 26 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
