As with most Christian records, Clothilde's Christian name was "Marie". But she went by Clotilda or Clothilde as her first and main name. Her Original baptism name was Marie Claudia Houle. She never went by Marie as a first name.

died at the State and Concord Apt Complex in West St. Paul, MN at the home of her son Tom and Carol while visiting. She was a residence at Leroy, Pembina Co., ND

Mrs. Cavalier is Called
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug 12, at 10:00 a.m., from St. Boniface Catholic Church in Walhalla, for Mrs. Israel Cavalier, 67 who passed away Aug 8 at 10:15am at St. Paul where she was visiting with her children. She had been in failing health for about 5 years.

Msgr. R. Longpre was in charge of the rites and burial in the Walhalla Cemetery. Nelson Funeral Home of Walhalla was in charge of local arrangements.
Pallbearers were Nick Karel, Ed Hiebert, Andrew Hiebert, Orville Bartlette, Lawrence Jackson, Abraham Bartlette.

Clotilda Marie Houle was born Aug 20 1895, the daughter of Patrice Houle and Rosalie Latraille at Leroy where she spent her early life. She was married to Israel Cavalier Aug 21, 1912 at Leroy.

There are 38 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and husband; a brother Joe Houle, and a sister, Mary Cavalier.
