Mrs Essley Dies
Mrs E.P.Essley of Gandy, daughter of Mr.& Mrs.S.(Sheldon)Remington, died the past week, according to word received. She is survived by her husband and five children, three sons and two daughters. Her sister, Mrs Lewis and two brothers, Charles and Fred, reside in Kearney.
Ella R.Remington was born in Iowa in either Mahaska County or Monroe County, in February of 1871. Her parents were Sheldon and Elmira Dunn Tandy Remington. Her siblings were Almeda, Charles E.Lula, Fredrick O.,Calvin F., and Susan.
Charles P.Essley and Ella R.Remington Essley were living in Rusco Twp. of Buffalo County in 1900. The family had lived in Missouri before coming to Nebraska. In 1910 they lived in Cliff Twp.of Custer County, Nebraska and were living in Cox Twp.of Lincoln County, Nebraska in 1920. Their five children were Elmer, Arthur, Florence, Susie A. and ?.
