Issac Thompson
Issac T. Thompson, 82 4415 9th Ave., died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Freda Wyatt, Saturday night.
He was born in Jackson county, a son of the late Lindsay and Sylmida Sill Thompson and was a member of the Gates Ridge EUB Church, and the Junior Order of United American Mechanics.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lottie Thompson; two daughters, Mrs. Wyatt and Mrs. Zelma Gault, both of Parkersburg; eight sons, Russell and Omer, both of Parkersburg, Leslie and Carroll, both of Rockport, Otmer of Sandyville, Ernest of Belleville, Hershel of Coolville, O., and the Rev. Hallie Thompson of Belmont.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ada Beymer, Ripley, Mrs. Ettie Boyce, Ravenswood, and Mrs. Emma Franklin of Belleville; two brothers, Oscar Thompson of Florida, and Bert Thompson of Sandyville; 46 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Louisa Thompson, and two children.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the 15th Av. Gospel Mission with the Rev. Hayward Gribble officiating. Friends may call at the Leavitt funeral home after noon today and until one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
