Obituary
Windsor Wilson Barber, son of Rachel and Lorenza Barber, was born January 25, 1865, in New Market, Md., and passed away October 29, 1941, in an Enid hospital. He was 76 yers, 9 months and 4 days of age at his death.
Mr. Barber came to Oklahoma in 1889, and settled on a farm six miles north of Kingfisher.
On July 11, 1892, He was united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth. Josephine Frontin. To this union five daughters were born, the youngest Violet Ruth, passing away on January 6, 1909.
Mr. Barber farmed up to 15 years ago, when he retired and moved to Kingfisher, where he spent the remainder of his days.
In Infancy he was christened in the Methodist church. Seldom attending church himself, he saw that his family did.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Ed Garrett, Mrs. Clarence Garrett, Mrs. R. W. Kremke and Mrs. Emil Boeckman, all of Kingfisher; eight grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Mr. Barber was the last of his family, no living relatives being known.
Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Christian church, Rev. G. O. Bell officiating. Interment was made in the Kingfisher cemetery.
