Mildred H. Abrahamson, 100, Mesa, Ariz., passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, in a Mesa, Ariz., assisted living facility.
Mildred was born July 31, 1910, to Hagbert and Andrea Anderson in Mayville, N.D.
While teaching in Heimdal, N.D., she met and married Walter G. Abrahamson. They spent most of their working years in Minot. They retired in 1972 and moved to Mesa. Mildred celebrated her 100th birthday this year with friends and relatives coming from all over the country to wish her well.
She was a much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was truly loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Walter Abrahamson; and son, Ron Abrahamson.
She is survived by: daughter, Lois (Abrahamson) Baney, son, Gary Abrahamson, and daughter, Linda (Abrahamson) Richey; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Private graveside services will be held at Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Payson, Ariz.
