J.C. 'Pete' Kirkendoll
Jene Clifford "Pete" Kirkendoll, 69, of Lone Oak Road in Paris died Friday night, Nov. 6, 1998, at the Henry County medical Center Emergency Room. His Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Warren Sykes officiating Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery at Big Sandy. Chosen as Pallbearers are John Christopher Wynn, Jason and Billy Smith, Billy Enlow, Dale Overby and David Wade. Visitation is planned 4-8 P.M. Today. Born in Henry County April 23, 1929, He was the Son of Owen Clifford Kirkendoll and Zillie Wade Burnett, both deceased. He was a Baptist, A Truck Driver and served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1947. He leaves four Daughters, Patricia Farris, Cynthia Enlow and Myra Ray, all of Paris, and Delores Kirkendoll of Nashville: Four Sons, John Edward Kirkendoll of Paris, Jene "B.J." Kirkendoll of Oklahoma City, Jacob Kirkendoll of Arkansas and Billy Kirkendoll of San Diego; 16 Grandchildren; and Two Great-Grandchildren. He also was preceded in Death by a Daughter Connie McGowan; and a Sister, Laura Mae Davey.
