Elmer Ferrell, 33 died Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at his residence here.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Oma Gertrude Ferrell; seven daughters , Mrs. Ruby May Lewis, Kingsport, Mrs. Frances Way, Misses Louise, Nellie, Betty, Eliza and Linda Ferrell, all of Surgoinsville; two sons, Sterling Ferrell, U.S. Army at Ft. Benning, Ga., and Elmer Ferrell, Jr. , Surgoinsville; three brothers, Orbin and Curtis Ferrell of Surgoinsville and Will Ferrell of Rogersville; four sisters, Miss Eva Ferrell, Surgoinsville, Mrs. Ina Linkous, Rogersville, Mrs. Elsie Davis, Boise , Idaho, and Mrs. Lonnie Lewis of Kingsport.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hickory Cove Baptist Church. The Rev. Charlie Hurd and the Rev. Hoyle Miner will officiate.
Burial will be in Jones Cemetery.
The body will remain at Colboch-Price Funeral Home until time for services. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
