Eugene "Bud" Bauman, age 84, of Arkdale, formerly of Joy, Il passed away on Wednesday, Dec 15, 2010, at the Moundview Memorial Hospital in Friendship. He was born on May 26, 1926 in Mt Tabor, WI, the son of Ross M and Fernie (Stone) Bauman.

Eugene proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WWII as a gunner on bombers. He was married to Wanda Decot in Galena, IL on May 28, 1969. While he lived in Joy, IL, he worked for Eagles Foods for 20 years. Bud loved to tinker and could fix anything. He was fond of the outdoors, mushroom hunting, camping, fishing and Generally anything that had to do with the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by hs parents; his former spouse, Frieda; a daughter, Debra; a brother, Orval; and a half brother, Ronald.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda of Arkdale; children, Darrel (Jan) of Elk Mound, David (Margaret) of Baraboo, Jesse (Kristen) of Tomah and Delta Link (Friend, larry Duffy) of North Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren, Doug, Brad, Amy (Amos) VandeHei, Christy, Joel, Emily, Audrianna, Jesse Jr, Philip, Annie and Larry III; 8 great-grandchildren, Karl, Logan, Kaylee, Cassidy, Annie, Noah, Samuel and Ella; a half brother, David Bauman of Washington; sister, Diane DeMoss of Washington; nieces; nephews; along with other relatives and friends.

Burial will take place in Oak Lawn Cemetery, LaValle at a later date.
