SOUTH BEND - Robert Neal Titus, 61, of Christiana, Pa., formerly of South Bend, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday in Lancaster General Hospital after an illness.

Mr. Titus was an engineer and sales manager with Computer Design Services Inc., Blue Bell, Pa.

He was born Oct. 27, 1932, in South Bend.

On August 24, 1956, in Collingdale, Pa., he married Shirley Stott. She survives, with two daughters, Roberta T. Edgar of Hartsville, Pa., and Donna L. Titus of Hatboro, Pa.; two grandchildren; four sisters, Carol Hollahan and Marianna Titus, both of South Bend, Peggy Munson of Portsmouth, R.I., and Nancy Johnson of Pine Spings, Minn.; a brother, Jack L. Titus of White Bear Lake, Minn.; and his mother, Rutha Orr Titus of South Bend.

He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and a former Sunday School teacher.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Brown Funeral Home, Christiana. Private burial will be in Mount Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery, Christiana.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home.

Editor: He died just 4 days before his mother Rutha died. He was the son of Loren O. Titus and Rutha Beatrice Orr.
