BURLEY - Grace Tannehill Bingham passed away on December 31, 2013, after a long illness.

Grace was born to parents Frank and Althea Wrigley in their home in View, Idaho on January 15, 1921. She was the youngest of six children.

She married Milo Sherman Tannehill in 1941. They lived many places as Sherman's work dictated. They began their family in Redding, California with the birth of son, David. They then moved to Pocatello, Idaho again for Sherman's work at Garrett Freightlines as a mechanic. There, George, Kay, Sharon, Frances and Katherine were born.

The family eventually moved back to a farm in View, Idaho where they made many fond memories of camping, ice skating, fishing, and hunting. This helped to balance out the hard
work typical of farm life.

She received her Associates Degree in Nursing and worked as Licensed Practical Nurse at the Burley Hospital in Idaho. She was, by even doctors' accounts, a very competent nurse who enjoyed training other nurses and loved working in pediatric medicine.

Throughout her life, she loved to work with her hands at work and at home. She enjoyed oil and china painting, crocheting, machine knitting, hand knitting, cooking, and
needlework.

In 1994, and after many life changes, she relocated to Dallas, Oregon to be near daughter Kay and her family. She was living in Dallas at the time of her death. The family is thankful to the nurses and staff at Dallas Retirement Village for their competent and compassionate care for the last three years of her life.

Grace is survived by her children: son, David (Judy) Tannehill; daughter, Kay Jackson; son-in-law, Dale Hanson, daughter, Katherine (husband Rand), and daughter, Frances (husband Charlie); 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, George; husband, Sherman; daughter, Sharon; grandson, Curtis; and son-in-law, Lonnie.

Viewing will be at Restlawn Cemetery on Tuesday, January 7,2014 between the hours of 2:00 P.M and 6:00 P.M in Dallas Oregon. Graveside services will be at View Cemetery in View, Idaho on January 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.

Graveside services are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home in Burley.
