Edward Robert Johnson, a life long resident of Lauramie township, died suddenly at his home near Stockwell Sunday morning at 12:15 o'clock. He had been in failing health for the past six months, but was able to be about and Saturday afternoon was in Stockwell on business. A heart attack was the cause of death. The deceased was a son of Robert and Helen Johnson and was born west of Stockwell, August 25, 1858. He was married January 17, 1900, to Miss Florence Skinner, who survives with a son, Robert. A sister, Mrs. Mary Paige, and a brother, James, of Stockwell, also survive. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church at Stockwell, Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., with Rev. A. W. Smith in charge of the services. Burial will be at the Johnson cemetery.
