His grave is in the Orwell Cemetery. "At the time of his death he was visiting his old friend Dr. George Peck. After an afternoon and evening spent in charming conversation he retired at ten o'clock. While frail, nothing unusual or alarming was noticed in his condition. Before the dawn of another Day He was gone. He is said to have been a good preacher and a great soul winner."
