Forrest Lyman Adams, 97 of Palestine, IL, died at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.

He was born June 21, 1908 in rural Palestine, the son of Lester Adams and Lillie Phillippe Adams.

He served as a minister in the Pilgrim Holiness Church and the Wesleyan Church in Illinois and Indiana for over 55 years. He was a member of the Robinson Wesleyan Church.

He married Thelma Coulter on December 30, 1928 and she preceded him in death on February 8, 1988. He was also preceded by his parents; 2 brothers, J. C. "Carlton" Adams and Gerald Adams; 2 sisters, Lillian Adams and Pauline Reinbold; and his step great grandson.

He married Vera Lilly Doyle on April 28, 1990, and she survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Delane and Roberta Adams, rural Robinson.
