The relatives and friends of SSgt. and Mrs. Richard D. Wollam are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at a time to be announced. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Monday between 5 and 7 pm. Mr. Wollam was born December 20, 1934, in East Liverpool, Ohio, a son of the late Earl Leicester Wollam and the late Alice Pierce Wollam.
He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and also retired from the Charleston County School District, serving at Angel Oak Elementary School.
Richard was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Johns Island; three sons, Richard D. Wollam, Jr., Thomas W. Wollam and Michael E. Wollam, all of Johns Island; and a brother, David Wollam of Valley City, OH.
