Nora Lee Oglesby Thompson, age 97, of Mabelvale, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 4, 2005. She was born on January 31, 1908 in Natural Steps, Arkansas, a daughter of the late William E. and Eliza Goodson Oglesby. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Herman L. Thompson and one daughter, Dorothy Alley.
She is survived by two daughters, Cora Hughes and her husband, Tom and Martha Archer and her husband, Fred; her son, Herman Thompson and his wife, Laura; 13 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren, 11 great -great grandchildren; and a son-in-law, M. L. Alley.
Private services were conducted for the family with Roller-Drummond Funeral Home assisting. Interment was in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family received friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home (501) 455-5800.
