Surname originally spelled:Pappamichalopoulos.
Louis Pappas arrived from Greece in 1905 to find opportunity in America. He and his wife Flora eventually settled in Tarpon Springs where they opened the original Louis Pappas Riverside Café. With much of the surrounding area still quite rural, Louis acquired several acres of land on the Pinellas- Pasco County line where he enjoyed his true passion of farming. He named his land Pappas Ranch where he and his family enjoyed many years of relaxation away from their demanding restaurant responsibilities. It was on the Pappas Ranch that Louis taught his children the importance of freshness, providing farm fresh products from the ranch to their many loyal patrons. It is with the same tradition we present this Pappas Ranch where we hope you enjoy the warm atmosphere of our family's hospitality. Louis Pappas created the menu and sauces himself, with a passion that is imminent in each delicious meal.
