WILLIAM BLAKELEY

One of the Colchester boys of American stock and birth, was a
cousin of Lieutenant Rolfe. His service as a soldier was
entirely creditable. Possessing as he did, a somewhat
pugnacious disposition by nature he was well fitted to do valiant
service in battle. After the war he engaged in railroad work and
while employed as passenger conductor his health failed and he
died in March, 1881, Fort Wayne, Ind.
